TeOra and Atlas Aquaculture Signs MoU to Bring New Technologies Into Aquaculture Industry | Plug and Play APAC

On 19 April 2024, Singapore startup TeOra and Atlas Aquaculture Pte Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This strategic partnership signals their joint commitment to infuse the aquaculture sector with cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices.


Singapore-based biotech startup TeOra stands at the forefront of innovation in disease management in agriculture and aquaculture. Their work focuses on developing orally administered therapeutics for farmed fish and shrimp. Atlas Aquaculture, a land-based fish farm in Singapore, leverages a proprietary closed-loop recycling system, to deliver fresh, nourishing, and sustainable fish products.



With the planet's oceans serving as a vital lifeline, supporting the livelihoods of over 3 billion people worldwide, TeOra believes the imperative to develop sustainable aquaculture practices through continuous innovation. The MoU will primarily look to establish a collaborative framework between TeOra and Atlas Aquaculture to spearhead joint projects aimed at propelling the aquaculture industry forward. By pooling their expertise, the two companies seek to delve into research and development initiatives geared towards enhancing the sustainability and optimacy of aquaculture practices.
