Rolljak partners with PPM School of Management to innovate Indonesia’s edutech sector

Rolljak, a GIA Jakarta Batch 5 startup, partners up with PPM School of Management to boost innovation in the education technology industry in Indonesia.

About PPM School of Management PPM School of Management is one of the pioneers among management schools in Indonesia since 1967. They aim to nurture Indonesia’s future generations into a highly-qualified working force equipped with both soft and hard skills.

About Rolljak

Rolljak is a gamified audience engagement tool that embodies the 4 Cs of 21st-century competencies: Communication, Creativity, Collaboration, and Critical Thinking. Rolljak is more than just a live quiz tool; it's an all-in-one teaching platform that's jam-packed with interactive features.

With Rolljak, lecturers can create a complete and interactive session by asking open-ended questions that students can respond to via text or diagrammatic responses.

The Partnership

Access to technology is crucial for education in the modern era, yet many schools in Indonesia lack access to resources that can give an advantage to educators and improve efficiency in teaching and collecting relevant data.

The PPM School of Management saw that a change in infrastructure was needed to reach this goal. Rolljak joined our programme with a mission to transform the education sector in Indonesia, as well as to help students and educators. Through the GIA Jakarta Market Access session, Rolljak gained the opportunity to connect with PPM School of Management and later presented their first demo.

Rolljak carried the potential to enhance the curriculum of PPM School of Management through their education gamification model and data analytics feature, which improved the effectiveness of educators in grading the students. After the first demo, PPM School of Management quickly realized that the innovation provided by Rolljak is exactly what they need to leverage the engagement level of students and in EduTech infrastructure. Both parties signed a MoU for a 6-month partnership, leading to Rolljak’s first soft landing in the Indonesian market.

“This partnership would not be possible without the help of Plug and Play, Enterprise SG, All of the Mentors, GIA Jakarta team, and PPM School of Management who worked beyond expectations and keep on pushing Rolljak to have a successful story in Indonesia.” Co-Founder and CEO Aditya shared.
