The Partnership
Intercorp and CLIXLogic were first introduced through Intercorp's assigned local mentor, Arnold Bagabaldo, CEO of Packetworkx from the GIA Manila programme. Charlie Fernando, CEO of CLIXLogic, recognised the potential of Intercorp’s suite of workplace and workforce solutions in solving the Philippines’ huge labour market. CLIXLogic expressed strong interest in a partnership, even making a short trip to Intercorp’s office in Singapore to attend Intercorp’s joint launch event with SAP.
Later, both companies collaborated and participated in the “IoT 2023 Conference” in Manila and took the opportunity to sign their Partner Distribution Agreement.
Clixlogic signed with Intercorp on 29 June 2023 to be a non-exclusive distributing partner and representative of Intercorp for the Philippines region. Clixlogic will resell, distribute, and carry out installations and maintenance services for clients within the said territory. Intercorp will provide all the technologies, know-how, technical support, and customer service to ensure a successful project track record. Clixlogic will carry Intercorp’s products in the areas of access control, HR suite (attendance, payroll, claims, leave, appraisals), employee mobile services, productivity, and video analytics, as well as hardware technologies such as biometric technologies, intelligent cameras, and IOT devices.
Shortly after the signing of the agreement, Intercorp clinched a local project from Leighton Asia for its Philippines project in Manila, which CLIXLogic is currently in the midst of project implementation.
Intercorp and CLIXLogic are excited by their early success and are currently working on several potential projects in the pipeline.
“What we’re looking for is really finding ways to come into Manila and the greater Philippines as a market. We hope to go through the easier way of finding partnerships and so far what we’re seeing is a lot of positive things coming out of this.” said Kelvin Koh, CEO and Co-Founder of Intercorp at the GIA Manila Ecosystem Event.
